Watching Love Unfold Through The Eye of My Camera.... Meet Sam and Sharon

August 21, 2022  •  1 Comment

New Love is a beautiful thing. It is fun... fresh... and beautiful.  Sometimes we find new love on the playground as little children. Sometimes is our first crush in high school or we find it when we go off to college. Some of us find new love at a couple different times in life. You see Love .... doesn't see age, it doesn't have a time frame or an expiration date. It is perfect and finds us exactly when it wants to and operates on its own divine time.

Meet Sam and Sharon. Some may think that they have been together for years and years. But no... this is not the case. We are witnessing New Love in Action here. And it is beautiful and refreshing and oh so very sweet.

Sam has bee an art student of mine for awhile. He has been coming to my studio and painting with me for quite some time. One day something changed and Sam started talking about his new friend. Then Sam started bringing her to come see the studio. Next thing we new, Sharon started coming to learn art also and all of a sudden Sam just seemed so much happier.  His always welcoming smile took on a new shine and a new light.  You see...my friend found love... or love found him.  The both look so good in love.

My goal as a photographer is to do more than just take a photograph. I love to capture the essence of who I am photographing.  These two just enjoy life together ...so we took a trip to Owego, NY and captured them.. just being them.

We started the shoot at the park near the rivers edge. Then we proceeded to stroll through the historic district and they posed in front of many of the historical mansions and estates. We finally ended our journey at Carols Art Bar for some photos and a beautiful lunch. All together the experience was enchanting and one of the best photo shoots I've had in awhile.

This photographer ... well I certainly enjoyed myself and my friends this day.  I feel very blessed and grateful to be able to share the journey we had with you.

Much Love,

Becca
